Barnesmore Cottage is nestled at the base of the Bluestack Mountains, surrounded by 21 acres of mature gardens and woodlands in an absolutely picturesque location, it is a very secluded site with one other house on the property (owners). It is also located next to the old railway line, which makes a lovely walking trail, although we hope to get the train back on that track someday.
 It’s conveniently located between two popular towns Donegal Town and Ballybofey.

The Cottage is located off a slip road as you take the turn for the famous pub Biddy’s O'Barnes.
Once you take the turn for Biddy's take the slip road (on a slight hill just up from the pub). Once on the 'private road' take the first and only left turn. Follow the lane up to the top crossing over a bridge you will find the cottage on the right handside.
